Welcome to The Retreat at Capella Ranch, a cozy and inspiring destination designed with crafting groups in mind. Whether you’re quilting, knitting, scrapbooking, or diving into a new creative passion, our retreat space offers the perfect blend of comfort, function, and peaceful surroundings to fuel your creativity.

Set on our working family farm in Lafayette, Colorado, the retreat features four thoughtfully designed bedrooms and sleeps 10+ guests. One of the bedrooms is located on the main floor with ADA accessibility, making it easy for everyone in your group to feel welcome and at home.

You’ll have access to a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for preparing group meals or enjoying snacks and coffee while you work. The retreat also includes two open activity rooms, each with flexible tables and chairs that can be arranged however you like—set up for individual projects, group demonstrations, or communal workspace for everyone to gather and create.

Take a break and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors from the front porch, which overlooks scenic views of the ranch and surrounding countryside. Whether you’re crafting with friends, hosting a workshop, or simply looking for a relaxing creative escape, The Retreat at Capella Ranch is the perfect space to unwind, connect, and get inspired.

  • While The Retreat was designed with crafters in mind—featuring flexible workspace and plenty of room for creativity—it’s also a great space for small group getaways, workshops, or intimate gatherings. If you’re looking for a peaceful, scenic place to connect and unwind, we’d love to host you!

  • The Retreat includes four bedrooms (one ADA-accessible on the main floor), two spacious activity rooms with movable tables and chairs, a full kitchen, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a front porch with stunning ranch views. You’ll also have access to outdoor seating and the peaceful ambiance of the working farm.

  • We’ll be opening bookings soon! Retreats will be available for weekend and multi-day stays, with a two-night minimum. Group leaders can reserve the space and customize their stay with optional add-ons like ranch tours or fresh egg delivery. Stay tuned for full booking details and availability.

  • Absolutely! The activity rooms are designed to be flexible. You can move tables and chairs around to create the perfect setup for your group’s projects—whether that’s individual workstations, a central demo space, or a big collaborative table.

  • Yes! The Retreat includes an ADA-accessible bedroom on the main floor as well as a bathroom on the same level. Entryways and gathering areas are designed to accommodate wheelchairs or mobility aids so everyone can enjoy the experience comfortably.

  • All beds are made with fresh linens and towels are provided. You’ll want to bring your own crafting supplies, tools, and any specialty equipment, but we’ll provide basics like tables, chairs, and access to power outlets for your machines or lights.
